it seems, i've heard, that SSDC is moving to woodlands next year august. and since i already blew up my chance to take bike license at bbdc, it would be good to start anew at the new ssdc. so yes, i'm definitely looking forward to get my car license there.
of course this time i have to be disciplined coz the last time i tried to get my bike license, i wasnt serious and wasted alot of money. i will put this in my new year's resolution.
be disciplined and get your license, an-nur.
fadhil thinks my trousers is very nice :)
anyway, last saturday, i followed a couple of my friends to the ssdc coz fadhil wanted to book his tp. i think he already failed twice so this would be his third time taking it. the thing is, he can book online what!! but he doesnt have a credit card so we had to go there.
this door leads u to your imagination.
and then, it was time to go orchard road to accompany fadhil's sister to get her shoes and a nail buffer. actually, the nail buffer was unplanned.
orchard road looks so bright and cheery with it's christmas lightings and decorations. even though the streets were choked with thousands of shoppers, my friends and i could still walk around with not much difficulties.
in fact, i was bedazzled.
i didn't take much pictures of the scenes during that night because i was too busy getting around to get myself a gift. and i had to walk back and forth from OG centrepoint to heeren and to ck tangs just to get it. but when i got it, it was all worth the time and sweat.
i should get a pair of shades too.
that looks like the Predator.
this was how my vision was when i saw the overwhelming waves of crowd walked past us.
actually, we saw some young punkers during the day. i wanted to take a picture with them but i didnt have the courage to do so. but to see them wearing like this, it just feels like that they have something to fight for even though their trend is slowly dying in singapore.
some wanted to leave coz it was nearing to midnight. but the others wanted to chill out somewhere so i suggested mount faber. hahah! sometimes, i think my suggestions to go places are lame. but it turned out okay afterall coz it was all cozy and windy up there. and u get to see the keppel harbour from there too. i remember going to mount faber once with cass but we never saw the harbour so it depends where u are located at coz different areas means different views. but i tell u, if u go in the day, u'll get some mosquito bites.
that means if u go during night time, u wont be getting any bites from the bloodsuckers. which reminds of the movie twilight! have u guys watched it yet?
can u walk on air?
no u can't.
the next day, i had to attend my cousin's wedding in kota tinggi, jb. i have not seen her for many years and i've always remember her as a skinny girl who i always play with during my younger years. and now she is getting married.
green is my favourite colour!
the function was held in a town hall.
after i finished eating, i suddenly realised that other tables were fitted with a steamboat bowl and trays of dishes were surrounding it. u see, i had to get my food from the buffet trays but these other guests had their food straight from the table that they are sitting at. so i asked my mum why they have these special settings. n she said these ppl could be from the 'atas' society or from the the higher class society. and malaysian weddings still practice this kind of conformity. so if u're a commoner, u eat from the trays. if u're atas, your food is already served at ur allocated table. i dont really care less but u dont see this kind of things happening in singapore. maybe they do, but i've never experienced it before.
still, i don't really care.
after the wedding procession, my dad decided to visit this old lady who used to be his neighbour. actually, my dad thought this person had already passed away coz my uncle relayed the message from my grandma who told him that she has passed away. but when she showed up at the wedding, my uncle and dad obviously was shocked. so my grandma was wrong and all my uncles and aunties was trying to figure out who told my grandma the news.
when i was in k1 and k2, i loved going here. back then, it wasnt really rundown like now. but my childhood time there was very memorable. but im actually baffled with myself coz everytime i reached this house, i will cry wanting to go home. but the next day, i will be happily playing, dugging out some earth and covered myself with it.
i dont know why my face is like that.
my chinese-looking cousin, anis.
grew up to be more chinese looking than ever.
i found some really vintage photos. and i would really love to get myself the camera that they used to capture this.
i would prefer to wear the white one. my grandad is 2nd from the right.
my uncle at the most right in the band.
and u think it was only our generation that takes jumping shots!
remember this?
see! i told u i am a shy boy. hahah!
going back to the nostalgic days was good. but im looking forward to the future.
and climb myself up to the height of success :)
